UNP MP thanks Forces for eliminating terrorism

UNP Parliamentarian Lakshman Seneviratne yesterday expressed his gratitude to the Security Forces for eliminating 95 per cent of LTTE terrorism from the country.

He said the Security Forces and Police have fulfilled their responsibilities well in eradicating terrorism.

"Therefore, the Government should not make its hands dirty by engaging in oppressive acts in the south while achieving number of military victories at this juncture," he said.
