Air Force targets Prabhakaran’s suspected hideout

Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets made successful air strikes on a LTTE gathering point frequented by its leader Prabhakaran in the Puthukudiyirippu jungle in Mulaitivu at around 6pm yesterday.

Speaking to the Daily News, Air Force Spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said the air raids were launched targeting a well identified LTTE hideout.

The Air Force confirmed the target was taken out accurately by SLAF fighter jets.

According to the Air Force Spokesman, this secret LTTE hideout has been completely destroyed due to accurate and precise air raids by fighter jets.
