Pipe borne water now supplied to Weweltalawa

A new pipe borne water supply scheme for Weweltalawa in the Ambagamuwa (Ginigathena) DS division was commissioned by the Ambagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha recently.

The Nuwara Eliya District Parliamentarian Mrs. Renuka Herath funded a sum of Rs. 65,000 for the implementation of the new water supply project which was a long felt-need for the village.

With the commissioning of the new pipe borne water several families of Weweltalawa are now able to get a regular flow of water for their drinking and household chores.
