Daily Mirror Editor's father passes away

The funeral of Gunawardana Liyanaarachchi, a former Senior Manager of the CWE will take place at the Kalapaluwawa Cemetery today at 4 p.m.

He was a pioneer member of the Socialist Political Movement in Sri Lanka.

He is also the father of Champika Liyanaarachchi, Editor Daily Mirror Newspaper and three others.
