Pirith pinkama

The annual pirith pinkama organised by the Rantembe Cadet Training Centre to invoke blessings on the President, Defence Secretary, Security Forces, Police, the country and the people will be held at the Rantembe camp today and tomorrow.

It will include an allnight pirith ceremony followed by a heeldana to bhikhus tomorrow morning.

A bodhi pooja to coincide with this event will be held at the Sri Kalyana Dharmayatanaya, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo tomorrow at 6 a.m.

The arrangements are made under the direct supervision of National Cadet Corps Director Maj. Gen. Gamini Jayasundara.
