Pirith ceremony

The Buddhist Association of Sri Lanka Police has organised a pirith ceremony to invoke blessing on the country, soldiers who sacrificed their precious lives in the battle field and also on the wounded and disabled in the war to be held at Police Headquarters, Colombo Fort on January 04, 2009.

A Dhamma Deshanawa will be delivered by Venerable Dr. Iththademaliye Indrasara Thera, Viharadhipathi, Fort.

Inspector General of Police, Senior police officials, retired police personnel and family members of the victims will grace the occasion.
