Three die in accident

'Three persons died and few others injured when a CTB bus belonging to the Tangalle CTB depot crashed into a van at Goyambokka on the Kataragama-Colombo main road yesterday.

According to Tangalle police the van was proceeding to Tangalle from Kataragama when the mishap occurred. The injured were admitted to the Matara General Hospital. The bus was on a test-drive by a mechanical driver after it was repaired by the the depot.
