Mobile text book distribution

The Education Ministry will conduct a zonal based text book distribution mobile service, throughout the country aimed to overcome the shortage reported in a few schools.

The mobile service which will be carried out by the Education Publications Department will commence operations on January 6 and continue till January 17.

During this period, the mobile service will visit every Educational Zone with focus on remote areas where the text books shortage is reported to be acute, the Education Ministry sources told the Daily News.

The mobile service requested students, Principals and other education officials to obtain their requirement of text books by contacting the mobile books distribution service.

The details of dates, time and venues from where the text books will be made available could be obtained from the Zonal Education offices.
