50 infrastructure development projects completed

Fifty rural infrastructure development projects implemented under Jathika Saviya Gama Neguma programme in the Imbulpe Divisional Secretariat Division in 2008 have been successfully completed with the participation of the public divisional secretary M.M. Gunasinghe said.

Under this programme 47 damaged roads have been renovated along with a bridge and two Janasabha offices.

Over Rs. 21 million has been spent for these projects and the value of these projects have been estimated to over Rs. 24 million due to the voluntary participation of the public, he added.
