Rasika and Maneesha take under 21 titles

Rasika Manoj (Anura MMV, Yakkala) and Maneesha Wijesundara of Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala bagged the Boys and Girls Under 21 Titles in the Intermediate and Novices Table Tennis Championships concluded at Aquarius Indoor Stadium, Marawila on Sunday.

Rasika beat Pasan Hemasinghe of Vidyartha 14-12, 11-9 in the boys final while Maneesha overcame Nadeni Abeykoon of St. Anthony's Girls school, Kandy 5-11, 15-13, 11-5 in the girls final. The tournament was organised by Aquarius Beach Club in collaboration with the Asian German Sports Exchange Programme and the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka.
