War heroes to be remembered

Pallepola Pradehsiya Sabha in the Matale district will establish an Informations Centre in its premises to protect the details of soldiers and police personnel who sacrificed their lives in safeguarding the motherland.

Informations of such war heroes in the district are to be collected under this programme to be kept in safety.

"In parallel, all roads in this area will be named, using the names of diseased war heroes," Pallepola PS chairman Jagath Dissanayake said. Collecting the information has already begun.
