White fungus attacks crops in Matale

Vegetable and fruit growers in Matale district are inconvenienced because of a disease called white fungus (Sudu Pus) to their cultivations.

The most affected varieties are avocadoes, mangoes, bringals and ladies fingers the farmers said.

It is also said that there is no chemical in the market for this crop disease so far.
