NLB, Tineth introduce 'Ambient Advertising'

National Lotteries Board became the first in the country to use an ambient advertising method in order to promote its lottery tickets among general public. This mega event took place on December 24 from 12 noon till 1.00 pm near the Majestic city shopping mall, Bambalapitiya. From the concept building to activation, Tineth Advertising was the creative force behind the scene.

A doctor and a nurse treating a heart patient near an ambulance could be seen on the selected location which was crowded at that time.

People who were shocked by the critical situation and wanted to have a closer look at the patient could see a message written on the diagnosis card of the patient.

The message was "If you are a heart patient, take your medicine and then watch lottery draws since the probability of winning millions is too high." Indirectly, the message conveyed that possibilities are so high that the public should take chances on these.
