Dhammapada booklet to be kept in every tourist hotel

A booklet containing Dhammapda stanzas is to be kept in each room of every tourist hotel in SriLanka for the usage of the foreign tourists who occupy these rooms, Deputy Minister of Tourism Faizer Musthaffa said when he presented the booklets to Malwatte and Asgiri Mahanayaka Thera's in Kandy last Sunday.

At present there is a Bible in each room in tourist hotels here.

A Buddhist booklet of this nature is a long felt need in this context, especially in a Buddhist country, Deputy Minister added.
