Clarification

With reference to our news item titled 'Developer swallows Rs. 500 m' which appeared in the business section on December 5, 2008 Mr. Amal Tudawe, Director Engineering, Tudawe Brothers Ltd. has informed us that he neither commented on the remaining work nor said that 'Developer swallows Rs. 500 m.'

Editors' Note: Our story did not quote Mr. Amal Tudawe when referring to the advance of Rs. 500 million collected by the developer. We express our regrets, if our story has given that impression to him and caused him pain of mind.
