Favourite Holidays appointed sales agent for Jazeera Airways
Kuwait and Dubai based low-fares carrier Jazeera Airways has
appointed Favourite Holidays as their sales agent in Sri Lanka.
Following its launch in year 2005 as Middle East’s first privately
owned airline, Jazeera Airways has grown rapidly to become one of the
most profitable low-fares carriers in the world.
The airline’s current fleet features eight modern Airbus A320
aircraft operating to 27 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa,
Iran and India through two main hubs in Kuwait and Dubai.
The airline has ordered 32 additional A320 aircraft and is set to
become the largest A320 operator in the Middle East once it takes full
delivery in year 2014.
All aircraft are fitted with the airline’s signature leather seating
and its Jazeera Plus cabin configuration , which offer high standards of
comfort and in-flight amenities to the discerning business travelers.
Director/CEO of Favourite Holidays Denham Schokman stated: “We are
very excited to be at the forefront of creating a market for Jazeera
airways in Sri Lanka, given the extensive route network of the airline
and the growing traffic numbers to the Middle East, timing couldn’t have
been more perfect for Jazeera to look towards Sri Lanka”
Favourite Holidays is the luxury travel arm of the Favourite Group
whose reach also includes management of country’s premier aviation
charter company Deccan Aviation Lanka.
Favourite Holiday’s aviation division is the sales agent for a number
of reputed airlines including Best air of Bangladesh and Airblue of
Pakistan.
The company unveiled its plans to commence regional executive jet
charters and air ambulance services shortly through its partner network.
