SLRCS joins the global alliance of HIV prevention

The World AIDS Day falls on December 1 each year. Countries all over the world together with international and local community based organisations and the wider participation of people, commemorate this day with idea of helping to reduce spreading HIV/AIDS worldwide.

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) under the theme of 'Let's build on our strength through religious leadership to prevent AIDS' conducts various activities throughout each district for the World AIDS Day 2008.

The National World AIDS Day programme of the Society under the above theme will be held at Kegalle SLRCS branch.
