Tourism Ministry condoles

The Minister, Deputy Minister and staff at the Ministry of Tourism in Sri Lanka were deeply shocked to see the news about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai over the past 24 hours and especially at the Taj Hotel.

"Terrorism is something that is an offence to all civilised people and must be countered with the strongest measures. Today, the Taj Group has been terribly affected by this scourge on our society and we send you our deeply felt sorrow. Tomorrow we know that the spirit of Taj will rise again and will never be defeated by terrorists," a release said.
