Soosai’s hideout pounded

KILINOCHCHI: Air Force fighter jets carried out a successful air sorties targeting Sea Tiger leader Soosai’s hideout in Jayanthinagar, Kilinochchi yesterday afternoon.

Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said the Air Force fighters carried out an aerial attack on this location yesterday around 2.25 p.m.

“It is located 2.5 km west of Akkarayankulam and the air raid was launched effectively,” he added. He said the air raid was carried out following reliable information from ground intelligence and air surveillance.
