Tharuna Nawa Rella launched

In anticipation of creating a new film culture among Sri Lankan young
cinema artists, the National Youth Services Council introduced a film
organisation by the name 'Youth New Wave' Tharuna Nawa Rella.
A new web-site was also declared open by the National Youth Services
Council, Director General and the Chairman Bhaswara Senaka Gunaratne for
this organisation.
The youth new wave will hold an International Short Film Festival in
December 2008 in Sri Lanka. Youth below 35 years of age can contribute
their creations.
