Rajan sportsmen receive awards

16 sportsmen of Dharmaraja College, Kandy won the ‘Dagoba’ award which is presented to the best sportsmen of the college, at the annual Colours Nite held at the college auditorium under the patronage of Major W. M. Weerasuriya, the chief guest.

(Sri Lanka Engineers - 1st old boy of Dharmaraja College to be commissioned to the Sri Lanka Army from the Royal Military Academy - Sandhurst UK 1957/1959). Mrs. Weerasuriya was also present on this occasion.

The Principal of Dharmaraja College, S. M. Keerthiratne received the guests who was taken in procession to the auditorium.

The main feature of the day was, apart from presenting colours and Dagoba to the sportsmen, masters-in-charge of each sport was also felicitated.
