'Development activities won't be deterred'

The Mahinda Rajapaksa Government will not deter the development programmes while facing the scourge of terrorism unleased by the LTTE said Katana Sri Lanka Freedom Party Organiser Dr. Sudarshanee Fernandopulle at the Commissioning of the Dewamottawa Water Supply Scheme at a cost of 10 million rupees.

It is the expectation of the Government led by President Rajapaksa to continue the development activities in the North after the Security Forces fully liberated the province from the clutches of terrorists.

"Certain Forces at national and international level try to bring about anarchy in the country. That will never materialise," Dr. Fernandopulle said.

Western Provincial Councillor Lalith Wanigaratne, Ananda Harischandra and several others were also present.
