Bridge to be completed soon

Construction work on the new bridge at Oddamavady in the Batticaloa district will be completed by June next year.

This project is initiated by Disaster Relief Services Minister M.S.S. Ameer Ali.

Rs. 400 million has been allocated for this by the Spanish Government.

This is the only bridge which connects Batticaloa, Polonnaruwa and Colombo.

Since the new bridge is set-up at Oddamavady, many development work in the Eastern Province can be expedited.
