Prof. Sanath Lamabadusuriya retires

After 40 years of service for children in the national health sector consultant paediatrician Prof. Sanath Lamabadusuriya is retiring from the State health sector on September 30.

His portrait will be unveiled at the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital where he has been serving the child population in their medical needs.

Prof. Lamabadusuriya spoke on implications of pneumonia in infants and children at a function on paediatric health at Taj Samudra in Colombo on Wednesday organised by Edna Pharmaceuticals.
