Programme to uplift NE schools

Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda has organised a programme to uplift the standards of schools in the terrorist threatened villages from September 29 to October 3. Pol/Hathareskotuwa Junior School and Pol/Aluth Oya Junior School will be facilitated under this project which was introduced by the Education Ministry.

This project will be the 3rd stage of the uplift programme which will be a residential workshop to motivate and enhance the knowledge of the students who sit for the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination this year. They will be given a chance to visit the Colombo Museum, the Planetarium & the Zoological Gardens Dehiwala to commemorate the Children's Day which falls on the 01st of October.

The project which is scheduled to be started on September 29 under the patronage of the Principal Anula Vidyalaya, Sandhya Neelamani Malaviarachchi which will be inaugurated by Director National Schools Sri Lal Nonis at 8.00 a.m.
