Special team to visit Vavuniya hospital today

Majority of the problems pointed out by the The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) have already been solved and a special team will be sent to Vavuniya base hospital today to look into the remaining matters and find solutions, the Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry spokesman said.

The spokesman said a team of officials led by Dr.Ajith Mendis will visit Vavuniya Hospital today and hold discussions with the doctors to find out solutions for the remaining issues. It is also expected to improve the existing services of the hospital.
