U.S.S. Services opens office building

U.S.S. Services (Pvt) Limited a leading importer and Distributor of fibre glass raw materials and Sunfo Economic International Award Winner 2005 opened a new office building at 394/4 Colombo Road, Pepiliyana recently.

The new building was opened by Chairman Udaya Kulatilake together with Director Sarath Silva and General Manager Ruwanal Fernando and special Seth Pirith was held for blessing of the premises. The welcome speech was delivered by General Manager Ruwanal Fernando.

The Chairman Udaya Kulatilake addressing the gathering said he was proud of Director Sarath Silva’s, Management and staff achievement as many said when the old building was destroyed in July 2006 that it will be not easy for our company to come up to the previous levels. But today we are somewhere he added.

Director Sarath Silva said he was able to achieve his targets in sales due to the financial assistance and backing given by the banks and the support given by many suppliers abroad and old customers continuing business with them.

This made us build our new office building in the same old premises where fire burn us down to ground Level. “Today we are capable of handling much more businesses than before, Director Sarath Silva further said.

 Most Innovative Enterprise Award 2007

Managing Director Sujan International, Sunanda Weerasinghe won the Most Innovative Enterprise Award 2007 presented by the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce.  Celebrity event at Taj Airport Garden

A celebrity event was held on August 22 at the Sigiriya Hall of the Taj Airport Garden Hotel for the corporate senior management of Ja-Ela, Seeduwa and Negombo.

The guest speaker at this event was Managing Director of Eagle Insurance and past President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Deepal Sooriyaarahchi.
