Business Lanka re-launched
The Business Lanka quarterly magazine has been re-launched by the Sri
Lanka Export Development Board after a lapse of two years.
The main objective of this magazine 'Business Lanka', the inaugural
issue published in March 1982 was to explore the supply capabilities of
the Sri Lankan export products and services of high quality with
competence to meet the requirements of the International Market and to
create awareness on the environment and opportunities conducive to
foreign investment in Sri Lanka. 23 volumes have been published during
the last 26 years.
Business Lanka Magazine will pave the way for both buyers and sellers
to improve communication links on business since Sri Lanka with high
professional competence in the supply of export products and services of
excellent quality and attractive service has acclaimed the global
reputation.
The magazine will be distributed to Sri Lanka missions abroad, trade
chambers, diplomatic missions in Sri Lanka. It is available at the Trade
Information Service, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, DHPL Building,
Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 2 for individual buyers.
High price for Pothatuwa
The highest price of a kilo of tea sold at the charity tea auction
held at Chamber of Commerce last week was Rs. 12,700 for Pothatuwa tea. |
