Infinite Datatex launches apparel and textile initiative
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be be the new emerging markets for
Information Technology (IT) after India said Head Enterprise Solutions
Group, Infinite Computer Solutions, India, Guruprasad S Rao, who was in
Colombo last Friday.

Announcing the Infinite Computer Solutions, a global service provider
of Infrastructure Management, Intellectual Property (IP) leveraged
solutions and IT services, their plans of launching their Enterprise
Solutions Group initiative for the textile and apparel industry he said
Sri Lanka is no small market.
“Infinite is launching its business transformation services for the
apparel Industry, and we envisage that this Information Technology and
Business Consulting initiative will add huge value to the Sri Lanka
based apparel industry to have better EBITDA margins from their business
operations,” he said.
He said since the apparel industry has a huge amount of human
manpower involved in its ambit, Infinite’s initiative is likely to have
a major socio-economic impact in the country.
Guruprasad also announced a special “Safe passage programme” for
different apparel and textile companies which are using certain generic
ERP solutions and have mixed results from them as an incentive for them
to switch over to the Datatex ERP platform.

Textile ERP in India, South Asia and Australia. Datatex is a global
leader in the Apparel and Textile ERP space with broad range of
customers that have annual revenues ranging from a couple of million
dollars to over US$ 10 billion.
Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) is the group within Infinite, which
is responsible for services built around the packaged solutions,
typically the likes of SAP, Oracle and Datatex.
Infinite has built up expertise in the apparel and textile space in
the last four years with fourteen implementations in India, China,
Bangladesh and Italy.
