A fine spell of pace bowling by T.L. Ranasinghe who took 5 for 17 and a hard-hit 63 by R. Y. Bandara in 53 balls with 4 sixes and 6 fours helped Dharmaraja College, Kandy to beat St. Anthony's, Katugastota by 6 wickets in their under 17 Division I 2nd round match played at Katugastota on Saturday.

St. Anthony's 152 for 9 in 50 overs (H.A. Wickremasekera 25, K.S.B. Karunaratne 28, S.P. Liyanage 46 not out, T.L. Ranasinghe 5 for 17, R.K. Ratnayake 3 for 37, K.T.D. Jayasinghe 1 for 17)

Dharmaraja 163 for 4 in 45.1 overs (R.Y. Bandara 63, K.B. Wijekoon 17, R.A.B. Ekanayake 20, S. Kalubowila 37 not out, K.B. Karunaratne 2 for 19).
