Panasonic Lumix digital still cameras worth Rs. 50,000 each awarded
by Uni Walkers Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings on
the 'Lumix Yes FM Eye-Spy' promotion. This saw the culmination of a very
innovative promotion organized by both Panasonic and the popular English
radio station, Yes FM, for all Yes FM facebook members.
The promotion was carried out over a three week period where
participants were called to keep an 'eye-out' for pictures of interest.
Members were then invited to post in their comments and rank the best
pictures. The best three such entries which garnered the highest number
of votes were picked and awarded with a Panasonic Lumix FX36 Camera,
Made in Japan - which has the much coveted Intelligent Auto (iA)
technology. The Intelligent Auto Technology contains five detection and
correction systems that operate instantly and automatically when in use.
Namely, Shake detection, Motion detection, Face detection, Scene
detection and Light detection. The FX36 comes in a range of colors and
is also a much sought after model among discerning photo enthusiasts.
The entire range of Panasonic Lumix cameras are available at all
Softlogic Max and Softlogic Lifestyle Electronics stores and authorised
dealers islandwide. The response for the promotion was tremendous, with
much interaction witnessed during the three week period and listeners
turned out in numbers to post their captured shots. The interest
generated and the build up certainly made the promotion a huge success.
