Chennai Golfers tour Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

Golfers known as Guindy Hackers from Chennai Gymkhana Golf Club were on a tour playing at picturesque Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on August 14 and 15.

The golfers from India were very impressed with the fine maintenance of the Course under the captainship of M. Balendran. Their tour leader Raja stated that it was a skillful course and very scenic and could be rated as one of the bests in South Asia.

Two days of continuous golf, and yet they felt fresh with the favoured conditions for playing golf.

Guindy golfers were full of praise for the secretary, Wignesh Nadarajah for the professional hospitality and the catering provided. Under the guidance of President Umesh De Silva.

The Golfers were well taken care of and future golf tours are being planned from South India.

Guindy Golfers are to play at Royal Colombo Golf Club prior to their departure.
