Kumbal perahera today, Randoli perahera tomorrow

The third Kumbal Perahera of the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy will parade the streets of Kandy today.

The Perahera will start from the Dalada Maligawa facing the South at 8.00 p.m. and proceed along Dalada Veediya, D.S. Senanayake Veediya, Raja Veediya and return to the Dalada Maligawa along the Maligawa Chathurasraya.

There will be tight security by both Police and the security in and around city of Kandy with checks carried out on those entering Kandy and physical checks on those entering the route of the Kandy Esala Perahera.

The fourth Randoli Perahera of Esala Perahera of the Sri Dalada Maligawa will be conducted according to the schedule in the streets of Kandy tomorrow.

The Perahera will start from the Sri Dalada Maligawa at 7.36 p.m. facing the South and proceed along Dalada Veediya, D.S. Senanayake Veediya, Raja Veediya and return to the Sri Dalada Maligawa along the Maligawa Chathurasraya.
