Blast scene ID a fake - Police

Colombo: Police have determined that the NIC found at the scene of the May 16 suicide bomb blast in Fort, was a fake.

Police have now found the actual details on the suicide terrorist:

His real name is Velayudan Sudarshan alias Sudan. Born on September 30, 1985, his actual NIC number is 852744642.

He has been educated at Thambalagamuwa Koviladi Tamil Maha Vidyalayam.

Police uncovered these details when they raided the bomber’s house in Thambalagamuwa, Trincomalee.
