KANDY: A soldier attached to the Army Intelligence and a 27-year-old Tamil woman were arrested by the Kandy Police Special Operations Division, from a leading hotel at Aniwatte, Kandy on Tuesday, sources said.

The couple were arrested together inside a hotel room. The woman who is from Kodikamam where the soldier is stationed, is reported to have collected information relating to Army camps in the North, investigations have revealed.
