Anandians show their prowess in badminton again

Ananda College emerged champions in "A" Division All Island Inter-School Under-14 Badminton Tournament by beating Royal College, Colombo 3-2 in the final held at S. Thomas College Badminton court, Mt. Lavinia.

These young Anandians' effort and determination paved the way for the success. Under the captaincy of Uvin Thalagala with the support of Vice Captain Sanura Hapuarachchi and the contribution of the rest of the team won the final.

St. Anthony's College, Katugastota and St. Peter's College, Colombo were beaten by these young shuttlers, 3-0 in quarter finals and 3-0 in semifinals respectively.

Ovin Rathnasekara and Vinod Payagala further proved exceptional badminton skills.
