Air Force bombs Black Tiger training facility

KILLINOCHCHI: Air Force fighter jets carried out an air raid early
yesterday targeting a Black Tiger training facility where suicide
training activities were on, three km West of Iranamadu tank.
Air Force spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said Air Force
fighters pounded an LTTE training facility and destroyed the target
three km West of Iranamadu Tank in Killinochchi.
According to the Air Force Intelligence, the target was completely
destroyed.
"Pilots confirmed that a huge explosion was heard from the Black
Tiger's training center," Wing Commander Nanayakkara told the Daily
News.
Defence sources said the Black Tiger training camp was directly
operated under the direction of the LTTE Intelligence Wing leader 'Pottu
Amman'.
The air attack was conducted following ground intelligence
information and air surveillance.
The target was precise and accurate and heavy damages caused to Black
Tiger cadres.
