LTTE suspect nabbed

A 26 year old Tamil youth, suspected to be an employee of an LTTE bank in Pudukudutiruppu, Mullaitivu was taken into custody by a special team of officers from Kandy Police.

The suspect has conferred to the police that he arrived in Kandy to see his sister who is resident there.

The Kandy police are conducting investigations to establish whether the suspect was involved in any terrorist activities.
