Public help sought to trace missing persons

The Police Public Relations Director has released the pictures of five persons who have been missing for the last several months.

According to the complaints by their relations, these five persons are missing since December 28, 2005.

Mohamed Razid Mohamed Naslim of 35/01, Pollgolla. Muhandiram Road, Gigul Oya, Mawanella. His National Identity Card number is 642560840 V.

Abdul Wahid Mohamed Fausil Ameer also of Mawanella. His National Identity Card number is 561946517 V.

Krishna Baskaran of 12/91, Gajaba Road, Manning Town, Borella, Colombo 8. His National Identity Card number is 631600492 V. He went missing near the Narahenpita RMV office.

Velu Sellwaratnam, 20 of Kali Devalaya Road, Munneswaram, Chilaw. His NIC number 753601058 V. He was abducted by a group of men while he was at his house.

P. Don Dilan Pusnpakumar, 26, of Ihalokanda Watta, Meegahatenna.

Police seeks public support to trace their whereabouts. Any information could be given to the above addresses or to 011-2321836, 011 2390245, 2444444, Child and Women's Bureau, Colombo or to the nearest police station.
