SAARC cultural events

A host of cultural events reflecting the diverse cultural facets of the SAARC region will be held to coincide with the 15th SAARC Summit in Colombo.

The Cultural and Side Events Committee have lined up the following events:

The SAARC film festival from July 19 to 23 at Ricky Cinema, the SAARC dance festival from July 28 to August 1 at the Ananda College Hall, Maradana, Mini exhibition/crafts sale by the National Crafts Council at the Art Gallery from July 29 to August 2, an all island children's art exhibition by Education Ministry at the Art Gallery from July 29 to August 3, Gem and Jewellery exhibition by the National Gem and Jewellery Authority on July 30 at the Galle Face Hotel, Fashion Show sponsored by the BOI on July 30 at the Galle Face Hotel and food fiesta and tourism promotion on August 1 at the Hotel School.
