Sri Lanka Insurance salutes best performers 2007



Award winners with Chairman, Sri Lanka Insurance, D. H. S. Jayawardena

The annual sales awards to honour top performers of Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) was held recently, at Colombo Hilton, with the distinguished participation of Chairman D. H. S. Jayawardena, the Board of Directors and the top management of Sri Lanka Insurance.

Over 500 sales personnel and many other invitees attended this year’s ceremony.

The Star Awards Night saw 188 insurance advisors and team leaders being awarded for their excellent sales performance in the year 2007. They were all awarded on the basis of achieving the set sales targets and standards.

The second and third place achievers were also invited to this magnificent evening to applaud the achievements of their colleagues. Best Team Leaders and Advisors were recognised under their respective business category that is Life and Non Life Insurance business, with the special “Star Awards Certificates” and Cash rewards.

The best of the best in this category were presented with the Star Awards Trophy, foreign travel packages, cash awards and certificates.

Chief Executive Officer, Life, Suresh Paranavithana said “Sri Lanka Insurance have endeavoured to serve the Sri Lankan General Public in their best interest constantly striving for innovation, convenience and expertise in every aspect of customer service, thereby creating a very loyal and strong customer base”.

Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance D. H. S. Jayawardena stressed on giving due importance for delivering superior customer value at every service point, which is a key element in building long-term relationship with today’s customer.

“At Sri Lanka Insurance every employee should give priority to deliver better value to our customers. Customer satisfaction and delight should be the central focus on all aspects of business development at Sri Lanka Insurance”, he said.
