Five schoolboys in Lanka Rugby Sevens pool

The National Selection Committee of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football
Union headed by Brigadier Jupana Jayawardena picked a 21-member pool in
preparation for the Singer-SriLankan Rugby Sevens at Nittawela in
September and World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong in October.
Five outstanding schoolboy ruggerites - Sajith Saranga (Isipatana),
Ruzmi Ramzeen (Trinity), Jerald Canute (St. Peter's), Viswajit
Wijesinghe (Trinity) and Roshan Weeraratne (Kingswood) have been
included in the pool.
The National Selectors will add or omit players from the pool
depending on the performance of the players in the next few matches.
The Sri Lanka Sevens pool: Forwards - Ashen Karthelis (CR and FC),
Dushanth Lewke (CR and FC), Wasim Thajudeen (Havelocks), Dilanka
Wijesekera (CH and FC), Sajith Saranga (Isipatana College), Kasun de
Silva (CR and FC), Sharo Fernando (Havelocks), Imran Bisthamin (Kandy
SC), Ruzmi Ramzeen (Trinity College).
Scrum Halves - Amjad Buksh (CR and FC), Charith Seneviratne (Air
Force), Saliya Kumara (Kandy SC).
Three Quarters - Sanjeewa Jayasinghe (Kandy SC), Fazil Marija (Kandy
SC), Pradeep Liyanage (Kandy SC), Chula Susantha (Police SC), Mohamed
Sheriff (CR and FC), Ashan de Costa (CR and FC), Jerald Canute (St.
Peter's College), Viswajith Wijesinghe (Trinity College), Roshan
