Anacondas do not lay eggs
With reference to our report headlined 'Anaconda mum cradles 20' on
Monday, Ravi Corea, President Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society,
Scientific Consultant, Herpetology Department, American Museum of
National History, New York City, USA, says Anacondas of South America do
not lay eggs and only produce eggs which hatch inside the female's body
and result in live births. |
