CSE Workshop

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has initiated educational programmes targeting different groups of the investing public. One such programme is a Workshop on Financial Planning, named 'Planning Your Financial Future - Plan to Retire Rich' designed to target the pre-retirement segment.

CSE will conduct two such workshops during the year and have scheduled the first workshop to be held on August 8 and 9 at Galadari. Plans have been made to conduct sessions on 'Building blocks of investing', 'Identifying good companies to invest', 'Basics of financial planning', 'Investing for your future' and 'Managing your Portfolio' during this workshop.

Lanka, Male Business Council AGM

The First Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka - Maldives Bilateral Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to be held on July 16, at 5.30 p.m. at the Cinnamon Grand.

High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives in Sri Lanka Ali Hussain Didi will be the Chief Guest at this event.
