Hayleys Consumers' Fujifilm promotion

A car, a scooter, air tickets and many other sensational prizes are up for grabs for shutterbugs who 'Fujit' with Fujifilm over the next four months, as the colourful campaign by Hayleys Consumer gets into gear.

Pomotion: The first prize Suzuki Maruti car

Titled 'Fujit! & Win it!', this consumer promotion is intended to reward those who use Fujifilm, Sri Lanka's largest selling negative film, the brand's local distributor announced this week.

Every Fujifilm box posted back to Hayleys Consumer between June 9, 2008 and October 10, 2008 will make the sender eligible to win a Suzuki Maruti car as the 1st prize, a Scooty mo-ped as the 2nd prize and two return air tickets to Bangkok as the 3rd prize. In addition to these prizes, Fujifilm users also will be able to win ten Westar wristwatches and fifty Fujifilm cameras as consolation prizes.

"This is easily the most valuable haul of prizes ever offered locally in connection with a film roll promotion," said Selvaratnam Nimal, Business Unit Head of Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd. "It is also the first time in the local photo imaging industry that a motor car has been offered as the grand prize. This is a fabulous opportunity for photo enthusiasts to Fujit and "Win and drive away"

The term 'Fujit' was conceptualized as part of a campaign by HCPL to describe the activity and process of photography in which the company has achieved leadership for Fujifilm in every aspect such as film rolls, photo printing paper, chemicals and digital minilabs.

The 'Fujit' campaign is also intended to enthuse a new generation of shutterbugs and to remind them of the romance of printing their photos to preserve memories for generations to come.
