Fourth win for Sri Sumangala

Sri Sumangala College, Kandy defeated Welagedara Maha Vidyalaya, Kurunegala by 28 points (4 goals) to 6 (2 penalties) to register their fourth successive win in their Singer Shield Division two rugby tournament match played at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy yesterday. At half time, Sri Sumangala led 14-0.

Try scorers for Sri Sumangala College were M. Zacky (1), Rukshan Fernando (1), Sameera Madusanka (1) and Indunil Wickremasinghe (1) who also goaled all 4 tries.

For Welagedara MV Priyantha Hettiarachchi fired the 2 penalties.
