More engineers to bolster power sector developments

Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will recruit 190 engineers, a Power and Energy Ministry official stated.

According to the official these vacancies would be filled to expedite the on going projects in Norochcholai, Upper Kotmale, Kerawalapitiya, Ran Eli Weta rural electrification projects in Hambantota and Ratnapura Districts, and electrification projects in Moneragala and Kegalle Districts.

"Under the directions of Power and Energy Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne, the CEB had duly approved the proposal," he said.
