Garments Without Guilt Campaign, a real winner, says LMD
The May edition of LMD features the much talked about GWG campaign in
its cover story, with an in-depth analysis of how the campaign was
conceptualised and run not long ago. The magazine also asked industry
insiders and its own readership to rate the apparel industry in terms of
its importance to the economy and its ethical and environmental
practices.

among retailers of international repute, we wanted to identify the most
compelling reason why buyers should continue to do business with us.
Globally, there is a sharp focus on ethical manufacturing and
sustainable development, and we are the only country that can make a

the team that conceptualised the campaign, observes: "GWG has thrown
down the gauntlet to the apparel industry, challenging it to aspire to
