238 AP mines recovered

Two hundred and thirty eight anti- personnel mines and eight "booby" traps were recovered by Troops conducting a search operation in the area of North Janakapura, Welioya on Saturday.

Two terrorists were killed and 16 other terrorists were reported injured during a confrontation in the area of North Kiribbanwewa, Welioya on Saturday.

Troops have also recovered five anti personnel mines (AP) during a search operation conducted in general area Veppankulama, at around 3.30 p.m.
