Jillianne a star in the making

Jillianne Fernando of Good Shepherd Convent Kotahena won the Gold Medal in under 14 diving at the Novices Aquatic Championship meet conducted by Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union and held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium diving Pool recently.

Jillianne has also won second place in girls U-11 one meter spring board diving event at the 34th Sri Lanka School Diving Championship held in September 2007 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Swimming Pool.

She is the first junior student of Good Shepherd Convent Kotahena who has won gold medal in a diving event after many years. The picture shows Jillianne Fernando with her Gold Medal.
